Buyers from 85 countries came to the 17th International meeting of Housewares Sourcing Türkiye HOST Istanbul, organized by Informa Markets in cooperation with the Turkish Houseware Association ZÜCDER. The fair, which was participated by 300 brands that conduct full domestic manufacturing, has a rate of international visitors approaching 20 percent. After HOST Istanbul, the next stop for the homeware and kitchenware manufacturers that are among the world's top 10 exporters in their field and aim to export 7 billion dollars worth by the end of 2024 will be ZUCHEX in September.
With a size of 12 billion dollars in total, 5 billion dollars of which being in the domestic market, the Turkish Homeware and Kitchenware Industry gathered in one of the most important trade fairs in the region, HOST Istanbul. Stating that they left behind another very productive fair for their exhibitors and visitors, Fair Director Funda Kunduz said, “Buyers from 85 countries came to this year's HOST Istanbul. The most visitors came from Russia, Lebanon, Tunisia, Germany, Serbia, Iran, Algeria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Greece, respectively. Companies in the industry conduct most of their export business with EU countries and the Middle East. HOST Istanbul 2024 hosted new buyers both from these countries that are strong in terms of exports and from target markets. Our 300 participant brands introduced their newest collections and trendiest designs to the world from Istanbul."
Aiming to reach 7 billion dollars of exports, the industry is waiting for ZUCHEX in September
Aiming to close 2024 with 7 billion dollars of exports, the next awaited meeting of the Turkish Homeware and Kitchenware Industry will be at ZUCHEX, which is among the three largest fairs in its field. 1,200 brands are expected to participate in the fair, which will bring together the entire homeware and kitchenware industry under its roof between 19 and 22 September.
