HOST Istanbul Opens New Markets Abroad to Domestic Manufacturers

Manufacturers across Anatolia are looking forward to unveiling their newest home and kitchenware collections to the world in Spring 2022. More than 150 local brands will exhibit in the 15th HOST Istanbul Fair, organized by Tarsus Turkey with the support of İMMİB, ZÜCDER and KOSGEB.

Zekeriya Aytemur, General Manager of Tarsus Turkey, noted that, at the most recent fair, big-budget buyers from around the world spent millions of dollars in trade with domestic manufacturers. Survey results from the last event showed a 75 percent satisfaction rate for exhibiting companies.

Aytemur said, “Thus, we provided significant added value in the export success of the Turkish household and kitchenware sector in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, an even more active and productive spring awaits our home and kitchenware manufacturers. Developments within the global supply chain have highlighted Turkey’s production power and logistics advantages; these advantages, combined with the export opportunities offered by HOST Istanbul, reinforce Turkey’s distinctive position among its competitors.” Adding that intense interest in the industry regarding the Fair demonstrates confidence and trust, Aytemur said that numerous  companies have reserved stands at HOST Istanbul 2022 and that the Fair area has already reached over 80 percent occupancy.

HOST Istanbul, the MENA region’s only home and kitchenware fair during the spring season, returns as the sector’s most important meeting point on March 10-13, 2022. Opening its doors for the 15th time with the motto #wheretradehappens, the Fair will take place at Tüyap Beylikdüzü in a 30,000-square-metre exhibition area.
